In which zones in Madrid can I use telpark?
In order to be able to park correctly in Madrid, you should know that there are different rates depending on the area and time zone you are in. This means that depending on when we are going to park and where we are going to park, the price may vary.
The zones you should be aware of are:
- High turnover zone
- Blue zone
- Green zone
- Long stay zone
- Sanitary zone
- High Rotation: Any user may parking as long as the vehicle has an environmental badge. Unless specifically ordered by means of vertical signs, the maximum authorised parking time is 45 minutes, which, once completed, will prevent parking in high-rotation parking spaces in the same neighbourhood until 30 minutes have elapsed (this type of parking space can be recognised by the white and blue lines painted on the road).
- Blue (General): Any user can park for a maximum of 4 hours. On the roads between neighbourhoods, you can park on both pavements as long as you have paid the amount corresponding to the colour of the space. Once this maximum has been reached, it is not possible to park in the same neighbourhood again until 1 hour has elapsed since the end of the parking period.
- Green (General): Users with resident authorisation can park for an unlimited period of time in their neighbourhood. On the road that separates one neighbourhood from another, they can park in the green spaces on both pavements. All other users may park for a maximum of 2 hours. Once this maximum has been reached, you may not park in the same neighbourhood again until 1 hour has elapsed since the end of the parking period.
- Long Stay and Sanitary Zone: Long Stay and Sanitary Parking are technically blue zones, but they are differentiated by the colour orange because they have special conditions:
- Long Stay Zone: Users may park for a maximum of 12 hours.
- Sanitary Zone: Users may park for a maximum of 4 hours.
