Zafra is a city in the province of Badajoz, Extremadura. Famous for its impressive Renaissance palaces, churches and convents, as well as for its delicious cuisine and popular festivals. It also provides an excellent starting point for exploring other tourist attractions in the region, such as the Sierra de Aracena Natural Park and Picos de Aroche.
